Who are London Diamonds?
London Diamonds is an independent fine jewellery company based in the heart of London’s diamond district. We design and create bespoke engagement rings and jewellery for clients in more than 24 countries, focusing on transparency, craftsmanship, and fair pricing.
Why was London Diamonds created?
We founded London Diamonds to challenge the traditional jewellery model. High-street jewellers often add huge markups to cover rent, staff, and marketing. We remove those layers and work directly with diamond cutters and craftspeople, giving clients exceptional quality without inflated costs.
Do you have a showroom or sell from stock?
No. We don’t operate a showroom or hold inventory. Every ring is made to order. This approach removes unnecessary overhead and ensures each piece is designed around your specific preferences.
How does the London Diamonds process work?
The process starts online with a consultation to discuss your ideas, style, and budget. Once your design is approved, your ring is crafted in our London workshop. Ready-made rings take around 1–2 weeks, and bespoke pieces take 4–6 weeks.
How are your diamonds selected?
We hand-select every diamond based on how it looks in real life, not just on its certificate. Over 95% of the diamonds we view are rejected because they don’t meet our standards for cut precision, sparkle, and clarity.
Which diamond grading labs do you trust?
We primarily use GIA and IGI certified stones because of their consistent and strict grading standards. Other labs may grade more loosely, which is why their prices are often lower.
Are lab-grown diamonds the same as mined diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown and mined diamonds are chemically and visually identical. The choice depends on your personal values, sustainability preferences, and budget.
Why are your prices lower than traditional jewellers?
We don’t pay for showrooms, retail staff, or stock storage. That saving goes straight to the client. You get a ring of equal or higher quality for a significantly better price.
Can I collect my ring in person?
Yes. You can collect your ring from our London office in Farringdon, in the heart of the city’s jewellery quarter. We also offer secure worldwide delivery.
What warranty and service do you provide?
Every London Diamonds ring includes a lifetime warranty that covers servicing, resizing, and general maintenance. Only extensive damage or replacement parts incur a cost.
